INTERSTEL TECHNOLOGIES A FINALIST IN NASA ENTREPRENEURS CHALLENGE

Honolulu, HI (August, 2023) - Interstel Technologies™ is proud to announce that we have been accepted as a winner of Phase I of NASA’s Entrepreneurs Challenge, making us a finalist overall. The topic submitted for was climate science data generation. Specifically, our proposal fell under the category of generating “high-quality climate science data from low-mass/volume/power instruments that can be or are hosted on commercial spacecraft”. Of the dozens of teams that submitted proposals, NASA's Science Mission Directorate announced only 11 Round 1 Winners of the 2023 NASA Entrepreneurs Challenge. Interstel Technologies™ will receive $16,000 and advance to Round 2 where we will compete for grand prize awards of up to $85,000. This year's challenge recognizes and supports entrepreneurs working on technology that advances NASA's science goals, particularly in lunar exploration and climate science.

Interstel will now prepare to present iCOSMOS-Swarm at an in-person pitch event hosted at the Defense TechConnect Innovation Summit and Expo in Washington, D.C. this November. This event will provide them with a platform to showcase their innovations to prominent figures from NASA, the military, and industry. The networking opportunities with venture capitalists and impact investors will open doors to potential partnerships that could redefine the future of space and science.
